FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
I'd like to come and see you, but I have some questions. Am I able to speak to you before I commit to a consultation?
Absolutely. I like to book a free 30 minute conversation with prospective clients before they see me for treatment. It gives us an opportunity to see if working together is a fit. During that time you can ask me your burning questions, get a sense of what treatment would entail, determine if I am the right practitioner, and if this is the right path, for you. You can contact me, and we'll set up a time to speak.
I also recommend checking out the rest of the FAQs below. Take a look at the Dynamic Medicine page and see what it is all about. My Work With Me and my About page will give you a feel for me, what I believe, and how I came to this work. If you'd like to hear what my clients have to say you can take a look at Kind Words. The Way of the Spirited Woman is a great opportunity to experience my heart project, and connect with a community of fabulous women. You can follow the WSW Facebook page or keep tabs on the Events page for upcoming workshops. My Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and Blog is where I like to connect with my community, post articles, recipes, resources, and musings.
What is your education? What associations are you a part of?
I choose to be a part of internationally recognized professional associations and educational institutions that seek to elevate the standard of practice, and education, for natural medicine. They are governed by a code of ethics and conduct. Please feel free to read more about them below. In addition to the colleges, certifications and associations listed here, I am also engaged in continuing education that keep me in keeping with the advancements in healthcare, personal growth and consciousness.

What are your rates?
You can find my rates here.
Are you covered by my insurance?
Some people in Canada have an extended insurance plan that may allow for natural therapies. However, policies vary from company to company and from year to year and we cannot guarantee coverage as it can be very individual and will depend on what your employer has chosen to be covered. Due to changes at the provincial level, some patients are able to receive reimbursement for their visits, while many are no longer covered for Dynamic Medicine services. Since we do not do third party billing, payment is due at the time of the treatment session, and a receipt form is provided for the patient to submit directly to their insurance company on their own behalf. My designated association numbers will be listed on each receipt. If you have any questions or concerns regarding your coverage, please check with your provider.
Do you work with distance clients? Do you provide phone or video conferencing consultations?
Yes, thanks to advancements in technology I am able to work with client from all over the world! Even clients who live in the city appreciate the convenience of having virtual consultations. Distance consultations are just as intimate and revealing as those done face to face in my clinic. Consultations can be conducted by phone or video conferencing with Skype or FaceTime and the prescribed remedies mailed to them anywhere in the world.
What does it cost to ship remedies? Is this cost in addition to my consultation fee?
You will be charged shipping rates in addition to your consultation fee.

How long does treatment take?
This is entirely dependent on the individual. Depending on the nature of the health issue(s) being addressed, successful treatment may require only a small handful of appointments, or it can take up to one, or even several years of treatment in more complex cases. This may seem like a long time to commit to a treatment, however, it is important to remember that we are not only treating symptoms, but also removing the underlying causes which created the condition in the first place. For many clients once their primary concerns have been addressed, they continue to work with Dynamic Medicine to advance their health, self-discovery, and consciousness. In essence, it becomes an integral part of their lives, and their well-being.
How often should I be booking a consultation?
Our body follows a natural rhythm during the remedial (healing) process. This period can vary anywhere from 21- 42 days depending on the individual’s level of well-being. For most clients, hour long follow-ups are recommended on a monthly basis. This allows treatment to proceed in an effective and yet, comfortable pace.
Therapeutic Counselling Sessions and Acute Consultations can be conducted on an as need basis. This will be determined depending on your individual care.
I have a question. Do I need to book a consultation?
For current clients, a 5-minute phone call or e-mail to clarify prescribed remedies, supplements or homework may arise and is considered part of treatment. Any questions that require further consultation will necessitate a consultation and be charged accordingly.
If you are a prospective client, please contact me to book a free 30 minute conversation to discuss your questions.
What is your cancellation policy?
Sometimes things come up and you just aren’t able to make it to your scheduled appointment. If you are unable to keep your appointment, a
minimum of 24 hours notice is appreciated for cancellation or rescheduling of appointments.
Without adequate notice (less than 24 hours), the price equivalent to the full cost of the missed visit will be billed at
your subsequent visit.
Will my personal information be kept confidential?
All information provided by the client will be treated with the utmost sensitivity and confidentiality. Every area of treatment and administration is governed by this principle of ethics.
